When You Need More Help
From Belly Fat to Belly Flat was written to illuminate the link between estrogen dominance and mid-section weight gain. For women or men who have gained ten to thirty-plus pounds or who have “graduated” up two or more sizes into elastic waist pants, the Belly Flat Plan could end your frustration once and for all. Soon after the book was released, our emails were flooded with reports like: “I have a waist again!” “Those stubborn pounds around my tummy, butt, hips and thighs are finally gone.” And, best of all, “I am 47 years old and back into my skinny jeans for the first time in twelve years. I look great!”
But, unfortunately, some other readers reported “I lost some pounds but not all the weight I want or need to.” Or, “Those pounds came off but three months later I had gained it all back. I am so tired of my weight yo-yo’ing. What am I doing wrong?” Why does our Belly Flat Plan work form some people and not for others?
Weight gain is not simply a physiologic issue. Emotional eating – eating to soothe/suppress negative feelings of anxiety, sadness, anger, frustration or low self esteem – can sabotage weight loss efforts. Persons who have repeatedly tried in vain to lose weight, or who have experienced years or yo-yo weight loss/weight gain, often need extra help to safely get and keep those pounds off. This “help” may come in the form of counseling, a more regimented and supervised nutritional program, a monitored food diary and ongoing opportunities for individual encouragement and group support. We committed to extend our reach beyond our book to better help more people lose their unwanted pounds once and for all.
In 2009, the Natural Hormone Institute entered into a strategic partnership with Metabolic Research Center. Dr. Randolph and Genie identified this organization as their partner of choice because not only does this organization offer a medically-based, nutritionally-balanced approach to weight loss but, most importantly because this program uniquely integrates hormone balancing with holistic principles and positive life management skills. More than simply helping individuals make better meal choices, Metabolic Research Center’s integrated philosophy helps long-suffering women and men finally overcome both hormone imbalance saboteurs and the emotional side of eating.
“We are aware of no other weight loss program on the market today that effectively incorporates all the essential variables needed to help you to not only lose weight quickly, safely and effectively, but to keep your unwanted weight off for a lifetime.”
C.W. Randolph, Jr., M.D. and Genie James, M.M.Sc.
